For Such A Time As This
Where are G-d’s people? It’s a question I have been asking myself for some time now. As the world increases in darkness, shouldn’t we as believers stand out in our opposition? Yet it seems that our voices are the quietest. It’s no secret that numerous churches have compromised to the highest degree, to the point of not resembling a church in the slightest. Sadly, the changing of times has affected the Body. Instead of His people bending to His will and desiring to be continually changed by His standards, we see the exact opposite: seeking to have G-d adapt to our own views and accepting from His Word that which only sounds personally appealing. The body has become weak. Revival is needed throughout our land- even among those claiming to be His followers. The desire to please man over G-d has become the real pandemic, and at the root can be found a lack of courage.
All too often I have heard believers stand on the position of refusing to be involved in politics in any way, stating that it is a completely separate issue from Yeshua and our faith. How could this be? Does the L-RD only want us to shine His light in certain domains of society? Why would politics be exempt? If any sector needs Yeshua it is certainly politics, with all the diabolical legislature it upholds! Thank G-d for the men and women of faith who serve within governing bodies, but more are needed without a doubt. But what we are seeing, though it is labeled as politics, is nothing more than a battle between good and evil, right and wrong.
The current administration has brought numerous evils upon our nation and a very clear agenda, one that strictly contradicts the L-RD and His ways. The recent mandating of vaccinations has left people going against their will, or it has placed enormous strain on families, as employers continue to fire their employees if they do not comply. This is diabolical and straight up nazi behavior. It’s unethical and complete injustice. No one has the right to tell you what to do with your body. The government and your employer do not own your body. And even though this injustice is right before our eyes on a daily basis, most are silent. I recently said to my husband, If every person, regardless of their vaccination status, stood up against these mandates, there wouldn’t be an issue. Seeing our doctors being let go after being hailed as heroes throughout the pandemic makes the stomach turn. But where are their fellow doctors who did get vaccinated? What would happen if they took a stand for their colleagues? What would happen if every doctor stood up against this medical tyranny? We would have no hospitals. Then what would we do? What if every teacher stood up for their fellow teachers, the same men and women who have poured in countless hours of service towards our children? What if they all walked? We would have no schools. This is how tyranny is stopped. But tyranny wins when the majority comply and our silent. It is easier to comply and most do not want trouble. This has been the case all throughout history. But how different would things look if it weren’t for those who took a stand for what is morally right? We can look at so many examples throughout history.
Although many believers have been speaking out lately, where is the Body as a whole? At times it feels like crickets. Generally speaking, we seem to not care, or to think that the current situation has nothing to do with us, or that it’s not as one might think, or we simply just cannot be bothered. I have been asking myself, Why? Why are we so quiet? The people of G-d. We are supposed to be the Isaiahs, the Jeremiahs, the Esthers of our time. Is it any wonder why so often godly change does not come about? G-d is more than able, but He desires to use us, and indeed we are here on this earth to advance His Kingdom! How then can we just sit back idly while the enemy continues to gain territory around us? I have thought about this a great deal, and as I already mentioned, I believe the answer is that it is just easier to comply and what we lack in the Body is courage.
My prayer for the body of believers is that we would wake up and see what is truly happening because quite frankly, too many of us are asleep and do not know what time it is. It is evil to discriminate against, bully, manipulate, and threaten anyone for approaching their health in a way that they see fit. It is evil to threaten others with job loss if they do not inject something into their bodies, jeopardizing their ability to provide for themselves and their families. Yeshua is not for force. He is for freedom. And He certainly isn’t for evil done in the secret. Much has been hidden with the covid vaccinations, including the risks and the number of injuries and death that have resulted. I pray that we as G-d’s people would be wise and discerning, as well as courageous to take a stand against what is wrong at all times. We cannot afford to be naïve and unaware of what is happening around us. May we remember that the same administration that is for forced vaccinations, is the same administration that staunchly supports abortion up until birth, promotes and upholds multiple genders as well as many other forms of sexual perversion, and to sum, has no regard for the sanctity of life, nor what is deemed holy by the Creator. Let’s stand today. G-d will give us the strength and courage. Let us fear Him and Him alone, and not man.
Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for the LORD your God, He is the One who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you.
